Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

Riddim is a music discovery and listening platform. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information you provide

When you create an account or use creator features, we may receive information you choose to provide, such as your email address, profile details, artist information, releases, and other content you submit.

Information collected through use

We may collect information needed to operate and secure Riddim, such as account activity, preferences, device or browser information, and technical logs. We use this information to provide the service, maintain security, improve features, and troubleshoot problems.

Payments

Payments made through Riddim may be processed by payment providers such as Paystack. Payment credentials are handled by the applicable payment provider rather than stored directly by Riddim.

Podcast show activation payments are processed through the applicable payment provider. Riddim records the payment reference, show title, show association and activation status needed to verify hosting plan payments and renewals for each show.

Creator payouts may require payout-account information such as country, currency, payout method, account or mobile-money details, and provider recipient information. This information is used to establish and operate the payout service and reconcile creator withdrawals.

Podcast and creator content

Content you upload or publish, including podcast shows, episode information, artwork, audio and RSS migration information, may be displayed to other users as part of Riddim's music and creator features. You should only upload content you have the right to use and publish.

DJ mixes, beats, and marketplace activity

If you submit DJ mixes or beats, we may process the audio and associated information you provide, such as titles, descriptions, artwork, contributor credits, rights or licensing details, and publication status. If paid beat transactions are introduced, we may also process transaction and license records, order status, refunds, and related support information needed to operate the marketplace and address disputes. Applicable payment and payout details will be provided before those services are enabled.

How we use information

Sharing

We may use service providers that help operate Riddim, including hosting, database, authentication, analytics, and payment services. We do not sell personal information as a business practice.

Data retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the platform. Where account deletion is available, you may request deletion of your account and associated personal information, subject to information we are required to retain.

Children

Riddim is not intended for children who are below the minimum age permitted to use the service in their jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update this policy as Riddim evolves.
